Mundie's Towing & Recovery Burnaby

Called and waited a reasonable time for them to come. Mind you it was midnight on a holiday. Rugged looking Jason was professional and down to earth. I wasn’t expecting a white glove service but he got it done. Have to thank the Operator who was able to suggest a garage for me to being my car in for service which worked out great.

Jan 22 /2024 I called for assistance with a flat tire. I had a spare tire but no jack … I have. A 2022 ford sprinter work van… I called Mundies expecting a long wait due to the snow fall. Not only was the driver onsite in less than 1 hour he changed out my tire nd was waiting for me for payment. Spectacular service from the first person to answer the phone (Paula thank you 🙏) to the awesome driver. . Thank you very much for the great service !!! Moms Heating and Cooling…

Dear readers, I called Mundie's and ended up with a different company all together. Here is what happened. Grab your popcorn because this is straight out of a literal movie. I'm 16 and learning to drive with my dad. I was practicing driving up near SFU when the car stalled. I called Mundie's to order a tow truck because the car wouldn't start anymore. (The person was rude, but that's not even the good part) After a full hour of waiting for the truck, I called them back asking how much longer it would take as they initially told me that it would be about only 20 minutes. They didn't know what happened to the first truck and sent a new truck up that would take 20 minutes to arrive. It took another 40. After waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes for something that was meant to take 20 minutes, my dad asked the truck driver what happened and why it took so long. The driver asked us if we were "just going to keep complaining" before hopping back into the truck and literally driving off. Thats it. One sentence and then nothing else. I quickly called back the shop and told the lady on the phone that the truck we waited almost 2 hours for drove off and abandoned us. She told me that we were yelling at the driver (we were not, we asked a question) and then told me that I had an attitude. As a new driver, this was not a great first experience. Thanks for that. So in summery: - Mundie's employees are rude, unprofessional and unreliable. - They left us on the side of the road for asking why they took so long - Told me I had an attitude - My dad is black so maybe they were just racist? Not too sure why they were so ticked off - they dont like knowing that they suck And to Mundie, do better. Its not our fault that you guys suck at your jobs. It isnt wrong for us to question why it took an hour and 45 minutes when you told us it would be a fifth of the time.

***WARNING, USE ANOTHER COMPANY***. I tried to have a vehicle towed that was illegally parked in my spot at work and was told to wait with the vehicle until the tow truck gets there. I waited over an hour, called back, still no tow truck, they told me to keep waiting. I had to find parking elsewhere, my coworker called back hours later, they hung up on him, he called back, then they told him his name wasn't eligible to tow vehicles from this lot. Now the manager is having to call them (for anyone keeping track we're now at a total of five seperate phonecalls to the company) and we'll see how that goes. It's been several hours now, I would advise any business that's currently using this company as their tow company to switch before you end up potentially wasting time like we did today.
